What is a wrap ring?
An wrap ring is a ring whose ends do not meet completely, but partially overlap or run alongside each other. This unique shape gives the ring a stylish and contemporary look. The name “wrap ring” refers to the fact that one end, as it were, falls over the other.
Since the ring isn't soldered closed, it's easy to fit to size. Afterward, you gently squeeze the ring into the right size, so it fits almost anyone. Because no soldering is required, this is a short and accessible workshop. Want to learn how to solder too? Then one of the longer workshops or the basic course) is a better choice.

Take a workshop in The Hague and design and make your own unique silver wrap ring.
Does it sound like fun to make your own silver ring using a variety of silversmithing techniques? Then this short 2½-hour workshop is for you. You can choose to join in the morning or the afternoon.
First, you design your own template for the ring shape you want on paper, then saw it out of a sheet of silver. After that, I'll show you several finishing techniques, and you can choose which ones to apply to your silver ring shape.
Finally, we'll finish and polish the ring so you can head home with your own handmade "bling-bling" wrap ring.
You can sign up on your own, as a pair, or as part of a group. The full group is made up of different sign-ups and ranges from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 12 people.
Program & Rates
- Time: 11:00 AM-1:30 PM or 2:30-5:00 PM (Saturday or Sunday, see calendar)
- The workshop is given by an experienced silversmith who has more than 25 years of experience as a teacher in giving courses and workshops.
- Suitable for both beginners and advanced users

- Do not bring your own silver
- Workshop cost: €85 per person
- Not including the silver for the ring: expect to pay roughly an additional €25-€50, depending on the final weight of the ring.
- Minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 people

Terms and conditions
- Upon payment of a €25 deposit, your participation is confirmed, and you must transfer the remaining balance of €60 one week prior to the workshop.
- If you cancel more than 2 weeks in advance, you will receive a refund; after that, the fee will be retained if you cancel the workshop in the meantime.
- Participation in the workshop is entirely at your own risk.
- If you come with more than one person, everyone still takes the "Make Your Own Wrap Ring" workshop; it can't be combined with other workshops.

The studio is located on Gerard Doustraat, in the center.
