Jewelry Making Course The Hague
Would you like to learn how to turn a raw piece of metal into a unique, shiny piece of jewelry? Then take this jewelry-making course in The Hague with Poelie Jansen. In the professionally equipped studio in the heart of The Hague, you’ll step into the world of goldsmithing.
Jewelry making is the craft of shaping precious metals such as silver and gold into jewelry and objects. While a jewelry designer focuses primarily on conceiving a form, the jeweler goes a step further: he or she brings that design to life by hand. Using techniques such as sawing, filing, soldering, hammering, and polishing, a flat piece of metal is transformed, step by step, into a three-dimensional, wearable work of art. It is a craft that requires patience, precision, and creativity, and one that has been passed down from master to apprentice for centuries.
Whether you’re a complete beginner who’s never held a saw before, or an advanced student looking to learn new techniques, you’ll bring your own designs to life with personalized guidance. In a small, creative setting, you’ll discover the basic techniques of the craft and go home with jewelry that you’ve truly designed and made yourself.
